RCIA RITE OF ACCEPTANCE AND RITE OF WELCOMING

Last Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the 10:30 am Mass marked the first time for the Candidates of RCIA, they officially gathered together before our parish community to celebrate their first Rite. After a period of discernment and prayer,the rites officially and publicly welcome our Catechumens and Candidates from our community who have been inquiring and studying about the Catholic faith, In these rituals, a declaration of intention to continue their faith journey is made.

These combined Rites of Acceptance and Welcoming are a beautiful addition to our Sunday Liturgy. This is our opportunity as their parish community to extend a welcome and assure them of our prayers and support.

Please pray for Catechumens Tamara and Travis and Candidates Mary and Marites who were also participating in the Rite of Acceptance and Welcome. Please also pray for anyone who is on a journey, searching for God.
